Spiced Pineapple Syrup
- TOTAL TIME: 15 MIN PLUS OVERNIGHT STEEPING
- SERVINGS: 10 ounces
- 8 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1 split vanilla bean
- Combine ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then let cool, cover and steep overnight. Strain the syrup into a jar, cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Makes about 10 ounces.
