Spiced Apple Juice
- SERVINGS: makes 12 ounces of juice
- MAKE-AHEAD
- 16 ounces apple juice
- 3 whole cloves
- One 1-inch piece of a vanilla bean
- 1/2 of a cinnamon stick
- 1/4 Honeycrisp apple, diced
- Zest strips from 1/4 of a lemon
- Zest strips from 1/4 of a tangerine
- Combine all of the ingredients in a pan and simmer over moderate heat until reduced by a quarter; strain. Refrigerate for up to 1 week.
