Sparkling Mint

Francine Stephens was a bartender for years at the restaurant Savoy in Manhattan before she opened Franny's, the exceptional Brooklyn trattoria, with her husband, chef Andrew Feinberg.

Ingredients

  1. 3 mint leaves
  2. 1/2 ounce Mint Syrup
  3. Ice
  4. 1/2 ounce Cynar (artichoke liqueur)
  5. 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. 3 ounces chilled Prosecco

Directions

  1. In a pint glass, muddle the mint leaves with the Mint Syrup. Add ice and the Cynar, lime juice and Prosecco and stir well. Strain into a chilled flute.
