Sour Red

For Seattle's Crush, which serves modern American food in a century-old Tudor house, mixologist Ryan Magarian adds a dose of red wine syrup for a sweet-tart twist on the classic New York Sour.

  • SERVINGS: Makes 1 drink

Ingredients

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces gin
  3. 1 ounce Red Wine Syrup
  4. 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  5. One 3-inch strip of orange zest
  6. 1 red grape

Directions

  1. Fill half of a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, Red Wine Syrup and lemon juice; shake well. Strain into a rocks glass. Thread the orange zest and red grape on a bamboo skewer and garnish.
