Bar manager Tad Carducci was inspired to create this holiday sidecar by the bowls of apples, oranges and nuts that his mom sets out around the house before Christmas.

  1. 1 lemon wedge
  2. Hazelnut Sugar
  3. Ice
  4. 1 1/2 ounces apple brandy
  5. 3/4 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
  6. 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  7. 1/2 ounce Frangelico
  8. 1 orange twist
  1. Moisten the outer rim of a martini glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with the Hazelnut Sugar. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the apple brandy, Cointreau, lemon juice and Frangelico. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with the orange twist.
