Simple Syrup

  1. 1/2 cup water
  2. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  1. In a small saucepan, simmer the water with the granulated sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Transfer the syrup to a jar and refrigerate for up to 1 week. Use cold.
