Temple Bar, Manhattan
During a solo trip to Italy, Kiki Kogelnik called her husband, Temple Bar owner George Schwarz, to say she'd just tasted the drink of her life, the Sgroppino. To welcome his wife home, Schwarz added the drink to his menu.
- 1/2 ounce citrus vodka
- 2 small scoops of lemon sorbet
- 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3 ounces chilled Prosecco
- In a pint glass, combine the vodka, sorbet and lemon juice and stir well. Add the Prosecco, stir again and pour into a chilled flute.
