  • 1/2 ounce fino Sherry
  • 2 orange twists
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce Lillet Blanc
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters

How to make this recipe

  1. Rinse a chilled martini glass with the fino sherry and squeeze 1 of the orange twists into the rinsed glass, then discard. Fill two-thirds of a pint glass with ice. Add the gin, Lillet Blanc and orange bitters and stir briskly in one direction for 30 seconds to chill. Strain into the prepared martini glass. <a href="/articles/cocktail-basics-techniques#flamingatwist">Flame</a> the remaining orange twist over the drink and drop it into the glass.
