Sesame Salt

- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- In a medium skillet, toast the sesame seeds over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer to a spice grinder to cool completely. Grind the sesame seeds with the salt to a coarse powder.

The Sesame Salt can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.
