Sesame Salt

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  2. 2 teaspoons coarse salt

Directions

  1. Toast the sesame seeds in a medium skillet over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer the seeds to a plate to cool. In a spice grinder or mini processor, grind the seeds with the salt to a coarse powder.

Make Ahead

    The Sesame Salt can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.
