Seasoned Radishes

Everyone who knows Madhur Jaffrey knows of her passion for radishes. She often serves them with drinks at dinner parties. They're easy to make and don't ruin anyone's appetite.
- 12 large radishes, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- In a shallow bowl, combine the radishes with the soy sauce and vinegar and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes, tossing occasionally. Drain the radishes and serve.
