Sautéed Swiss Chard with Garlic

A healthy, fast side dish, these greens would also be delicious in an omelette or turkey sandwich.
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 pounds Swiss chard, stems discarded and leaves coarsely chopped
- Salt
- In a large, deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil. Add the garlic and cook over moderate heat until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the chard and cook over moderately high heat, tossing, until wilted, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and serve.
