Sangria Cosecha

  • SERVINGS: Makes 1 Drink

Combining cava with figgy, nutty East India sherry and a touch of cinnamon syrup, Bridget Albert’s robust Sangria Cosecha (Harvest Sangria) is a terrific cold-weather cocktail. To lighten it, just add more sparkling wine.

  1. Ice
  2. 4 ounces chilled sparkling white wine, preferably cava
  3. 2 ounces East India sherry, preferably Lustau Solera
  4. 1/4 ounce Cinnamon Syrup
  5. 1 orange wheel, 1 lemon wheel, 1 lime wheel and 1/2 teaspoon golden raisins, for garnish
  1. Fill a chilled wineglass with ice. Add the sparkling wine, sherry and Cinnamon Syrup and stir well. Garnish with the orange, lemon and lime wheels and the golden raisins.
