The Good News In Vietnam, palate-cleansing ginger is typically served with rich foods like duck. Here, a pungent ginger dipping sauce is paired with salmon, which is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids.

Salmon Rice Bowl with Ginger-Lime Sauce

This is wonderful. We like it even better with romaine ribbons in place of the Kirby cucumber.

Very exellent recipe!!!! I especially look for new creations with salmon,I have served it in alot of Special Outdoor Events with everything from poaching in cloves and bayleaves on a BBQ w/ various blended spices to using white wine berry sauces but I especially just became a custom to the fine mating of ginger and lime w/ the cucumber and I will tell you it is not just for salmon this is an excellent combination thanks for sharing this reciepe..........Chef Tim

I loved the Vietnamese flavours of this dish and the crispness of the fish. I used the whole cloves while cooking the fish but threw them out once the fish was cooked. A little too much garlic for my taste.
