On a quiet Tuesday afternoon, co-owner Dushan Zaric muddled cherries with rye and Bénédictine to create this drink. "The whole cocktail was conceived and mixed while the Rolling Stones's 'Ruby Tuesday' was playing; coincidentally, the cocktail has a ruby-red color," says Zaric.

4 brandied cherries
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
Ice
1 1/2 ounces rye
3/4 ounce Bénédictine (brandy-based herbal liqueur)
1 lemon twist

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the cherries with the lemon juice and Simple Syrup. Add ice and the rye and Bénédictine. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
