Royal Sunday Morning

Sean Hoard has made Sunday brunch at his parents’ house a weekly ritual. He mixes this simple cocktail with ingredients his parents always have on hand (vermouth, grapefruit juice and raspberry preserves), then tops it off with sparkling wine.

  • 3/4 teaspoon raspberry preserves
  • Ice
  • 1 ounce chilled dry sparkling wine
  • 1/2 ounce chilled club soda

How to make this recipe

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vermouth, grapefruit juice and preserves. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. <a href=" title="Cocktail Guide: Double Straining">Fine-strain</a> into a chilled coupe and top with the sparkling wine and club soda.
