Food and cocktail pairings are the specialty at New York City’s The Beagle. Owner Matt Piacentini matches cured-salmon-topped mini blini with this drink, named for the Hollywood star and aquavit fan.

Ingredients

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces aquavit
  3. 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  4. 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  5. 1 lemon twist, for garnish
  1. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the aquavit, sweet vermouth and Angostura bitters and stir well. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish the cocktail with the lemon twist.
