Rojo Bianco

  • SERVINGS: Makes 1 drink

Death & Co. • Manhattan

Bar manager Philip Ward compares creating new cocktails to playing with Mr. Potato Head's interchangeable features. In this variation on the Brooklyn Cocktail, he substitutes tequila for rye, sweet vermouth for dry and Campari for Amer Picon, a French bitter liqueur.

Plus: Ultimate Cocktail Guide

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces reposado tequila
  3. 1/4 ounce bianco vermouth (sweet white vermouth)
  4. 1/4 ounce Campari

  6. Dash of Angostura bitters
  1. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the tequila, vermouth, Campari, Maraschino liqueur and bitters and stir well. Strain into a chilled coupe.
