Revival

Ingredients

1. Ice
2. 2 ounces rye whiskey
3. 1/2 ounce Bénédictine (brandy-based herbal liqueur)
4. 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
5. 2 dashes of absinthe or Pernod
6. 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
7. 1 lemon twist

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the twist and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
