Red Wine Syrup

  • SERVINGS: Makes 2/3 cup
  • MAKE-AHEAD
  1. 1/2 cup dry red wine
  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the wine and sugar and simmer over moderate heat, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool.
Make Ahead The syrup can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
