- 1/4 ounce absinthe
- 1 ounce bonded rye whiskey, preferably Rittenhouse 100
- 1 ounce VSOP Cognac
- 1/4 ounce Rich Simple Syrup
- 3 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
- 1 lemon twist
How to make this recipe
- Rinse a chilled rocks glass with the absinthe; pour out the excess. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the rye, Cognac, Rich Simple Syrup and bitters and stir well. Strain into the rocks glass, pinch the twist over the drink and discard.
