Pimm's Cup

  • SERVINGS: makes 1 drink

Napoleon House, New Orleans

The Pimm's Cup, a great refresher in New Orleans's sultry climate, is the drink of choice at the Napoleon House, a 19th-century tavern owned by the Impastato family.

  1. Ice
  2. 1 1/2 ounces Pimm's No. 1 (English gin-based aperitif)
  3. 2 1/2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  4. 1 ounce Simple Syrup
  5. 1 1/2 ounces chilled 7-Up
  6. 1 unpeeled cucumber wheel
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Pimm's, lemon juice and Simple Syrup and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Stir in the 7-Up and garnish with the cucumber wheel.
