- 2 cups white long-grain rice
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup frozen sweet peas
How to make this recipe
Place the rice in a fine mesh strainer and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear.
Add the rice to a large saucepan with the oil, chicken broth and salt. Bring to a boil, cover, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, add the frozen peas, cover again and let sit for 15 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
