Mixologist Ryan Magarian promises that the herby flavors of the gin combined with the mint and pepper in this drink will be a revelation for the non-gin drinker.

  1. 4 thin red bell pepper rings
  2. 7 mint leaves
  3. 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  4. 3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  5. Ice
  6. 2 ounces gin
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle 3 of the bell pepper rings with the mint, lime juice and Simple Syrup. Add ice and the gin; shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the remaining pepper ring.
