- Sixteen 1/2-inch-slices of baguette
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and freshly pepper
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- Preheat the oven to 325°. Brush the baguette slices on both sides with the olive oil. Season lightly with salt and generously with pepper. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and sprinkle evenly with the cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes, until the slices are golden brown and crisp. Serve with soup.
