Mucho Picchu

This South American riff on the classic French 75 replaces gin with pisco (a South American brandy) and lemon juice with grapefruit juice.

  1. Ice
  2. 1 1/2 ounces pisco
  3. 1 teaspoon maraschino liqueur
  4. 1/2 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
  5. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  6. 2 ounces chilled Champagne
  7. 1 grapefruit twist
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the Champagne and the twist and shake well. Strain into a flute and top with the Champagne. Pinch the twist over the drink, rub it around the rim and discard.
