  • SERVINGS: Makes 1 drink

The bracing thyme, lemon and orange aromas in this drink remind Francesco Lafranconi of the mistral that blows through southern France, sending the scent of wild herbs and flowers across the countryside.

  1. 1 orange twist
  2. Ice
  3. 1/2 ounce Dubonnet blanc
  4. 1/2 ounce limoncello
  5. 1/2 ounce Galliano (Italian herbal liqueur)
  6. 1 1/2 ounces lemon vodka
  7. 2 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
  8. 1 lemon twist and 1 thyme sprig, for garnish
  1. In a pint glass, muddle the orange twist. Add ice and all of the remaining ingredients except the lemon twist and thyme sprig and stir well. Strain the drink into a chilled coupe or martini glass and garnish with the lemon twist and thyme sprig.
