The bracing thyme, lemon and orange aromas in this drink remind Francesco Lafranconi of the mistral that blows through southern France, sending the scent of wild herbs and flowers across the countryside.

1/2 ounce Galliano (Italian herbal liqueur)
1 1/2 ounces lemon vodka
2 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
1 lemon twist and 1 thyme sprig, for garnish
