The key to this tart drink is mirto, a bitter Sardinian digestif made from myrtle berries, which is increasingly available at American liquor stores.

  1. 3/4 ounce mirto
  2. 4 blueberries, skewered on a pick
  3. Ice
  4. 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  5. 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. 1/2 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
  7. 1 ounce orange vodka
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the blueberries and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the skewered blueberries.
