Miller's Crossing

Bartender James Wampler tried making this drink with many types of gin. "The one that tasted right was Martin Miller's," he says. It's a London dry gin beloved by bartenders for its exceptional silkiness.

  1. 2 thin cucumber slices
  2. 1 mint leaf
  3. 1 1/2 ounces London dry gin
  4. 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  5. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  6. Crushed ice
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle 1 of the cucumber slices with the mint leaf. Add the gin, lime juice and Simple Syrup and shake without ice. Fine strain into a chilled crushed-ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the remaining cucumber slice.
