  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons orange-clover honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • One 750-ml bottle dry but fruity white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 12 ounces apple juice
  • 8 orange wheels

How to make this recipe

  1. In a glass bowl, combine the water, honey and ground cinnamon and microwave at high power for 40 seconds. Stir well, then pour into a large pitcher and add the white wine and apple juice. Refrigerate the sangria until chilled, at least 2 hours. Stir well and pour into ice-filled red wine glasses. Garnish each drink with an orange wheel.
