Marmalade Sour

Mixologist Jamie Boudreau uses orange-and-grapefruit marmalade in his cachaça-based sour at Vessel.

  1. 2 ounces cachaça (potent Brazilian sugarcane spirit)
  2. 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  3. 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  4. 2 dashes of orange bitters
  5. 1 large egg white
  6. 1 tablespoon citrus marmalade
  7. Ice
  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except the ice. Shake well. Add ice; shake again. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
