Mango-Rum Tango


  1. 4 large ripe mangoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup fresh orange juice
  4. 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  5. 1/4 cup dark rum
  6. Pinch of cinnamon
  7. 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  8. Pineapple wedges, for garnish
  1. In a blender, puree the mangoes and sugar with the orange and lime juices, rum, cinnamon and bitters. Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled. If the drink is too thick, thin it with a little water. Pour into large glasses and garnish with pineapple.
