Mixologist Damon Dyer based this drink on a mid-20th-century cocktail named for the famous racehorse Man o'War, replacing the orange curaçao in the original with pear-flavored Belle de Brillet.

- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
- 1/2 ounce Belle de Brillet or pear liqueur
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- Dash of Angostura Bitters
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
