Mixologist Audrey Saunders uses the Italian artichoke liqueur Cynar to accent the vermouth in this tribute to the famous Manhattan neighborhood Little Italy.

Plus: rye

  • 1/2 ounce Cynar (artichoke liqueur)
  • 3/4 ounce sweetvermouth
  • 2 maraschino cherries, skewered on a pick
    1. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the rye, Cynar and vermouth and stir vigorously. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with the skewered cherries.
