Co-owner and pastry chef Sara Naftaly transformed her studio apartment into this cocktail lounge and began serving drinks like Le Midi, flavored with a variety of Provençal lavenders.

  1. 3/4 pound blueberries
  2. 1 cup Simple Syrup
  3. 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  4. 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
  5. Ice
  6. 9 ounces vodka
  7. 4 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
  8. 1 1/2 ounces Lavender Syrup
  9. 6 fresh lavender sprigs
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the blueberries with the Simple Syrup and lemon juice. Cook over moderately high heat until the berry skins darken, 1 to 2 minutes. Drain the berries, reserving the syrup. In a pitcher, combine the berries, half the syrup and all of the remaining ingredients except the lavender sprigs. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Stir and strain into 6 chilled martini glasses. Garnish with the lavender sprigs.
