These ultra savory fries are terrific with pan-roasted steak or as a snack on their own.

  1. One 15-ounce bag frozen french fries made with olive oil
  2. 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  3. 1 large garlic clove, minced
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh sage
  5. 2 tablespoons freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  6. Freshly ground pepper
