This spicy cocktail blends habanero-infused apple cider with the smoky flavors of tequila and mezcal.

  1. 2 cups apple cider
  2. 1 habanero chile, halved
  3. 1 cup reposado tequila
  4. Ice
  5. Mezcal (optional)
  1. In a pitcher, combine the cider and habanero and refrigerate until spicy, about 1 hour.
  2. Strain the cider and stir in the tequila. Serve in tall glasses over ice. Top with a splash of mezcal if desired.
