- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 habanero chile, halved
- 1 cup reposado tequila
- Mezcal (optional)
- In a pitcher, combine the cider and habanero and refrigerate until spicy, about 1 hour.
- Strain the cider and stir in the tequila. Serve in tall glasses over ice. Top with a splash of mezcal if desired.
