- 1 ounce blood orange purée
- 2 ounces cinnamon-infused Patrón Añejo Tequila (see Note)
- 3 ounces fresh orange juice
- Cinnamon-dusted orange wedge, for serving
How to make this recipe
Pour the blood orange purée into the bottom of a highball glass and add ice. In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, cinnamon-infused tequila and orange juice and shake. Strain into highball glass and stir gently. Garnish with orange wedge and serve immediately.
To make cinnamon-infused tequila, macerate 6 cinnamon sticks in a 750ml bottle of Patron Anejo Tequila for 24 hours. Remove cinnamon sticks and discard.
