This Jack Rose is based on the recipe in Stanley Clisby Arthur’s 1937 book Famous New Orleans Drinks and How to Mix ’Em. “Arthur is a god to us up here in Boston, where we have a deep appreciation for New Orleans’s contribution to our cocktail culture,” says Jackson Cannon.
