Go back to recipeI served this to my husbands Israeli boss - he was amazed that I made this. The only addition to this recipe (since I love spice) was to add my homemade Chili Oil to it. Half olive oil/half chili oil instead of all olive oil.

Israeli Hummus??? With all my due respect...there's no such thing...Hummus is authentically Lebanese....and claiming it as Israeli would be called "annexation". Just stick to the facts and call it "Hummus" or "Lebanese Hummus", there's no shame in that. By the way you've got it right.

This is the only hummus I've ever liked. I love it's purist quality. Won more than rave reviews when prepared for party, with many comments on it's pure, honest taste! My only alteration was pureeing everything together after trying it separately and finding the tahini-lemon mixture too strong. Great recipe!
