"I love the aroma of cardamom," says Jacques Bezuidenhout, "and it works well with the spice in tequila."

  1. 3 cardamom pods
  2. Ice
  3. 1 1/2 ounces blanco tequila
  4. 3/4 ounce Pimm's No. 1
  5. 1 ounce unsweetened pineapple juice
  6. 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  7. 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  8. 1 lime twist, for garnish
  1. In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the cardamom. Add ice and all of the remaining ingredients except the garnish and shake well. Double strain into a chilled coupe; garnish with the twist.
