Honeysuckle with Absinthe
- SERVINGS: makes 1 drink
This is an updated version of the little-known classic cocktail Honeysuckle from David Embury's 1948 The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks.
- Ice
- 2 ounces white rum
- 1 or 2 dashes of absinthe
- 3/4 ounce Honey Syrup
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients and shake well. Strain the drink into a chilled coupe.
