- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon dried habanero (available at Latin markets)
- Combine ingredients in small saucepan; bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, then let cool. Strain the syrup into a jar and refrigerate for up to 1 month. Makes about 11 ounces.
