  • SERVINGS: Makes 1 drink

Lewers Lounge • Honolulu

This drink is based on a fancy nonalcoholic drink famed mixologist Dale DeGroff concocted at New York City's Rainbow Room. DeGroff uses orange bitters and amber rum to add spice and depth.

Plus: Ultimate Cocktail Guide

  1. 1 mint sprig
  2. 1 1/2 ounces amber rum
  3. 1/4 cantaloupe—peeled, seeded and cut into cubes, plus 1 cantaloupe wedge
  4. 1 ounce Simple Syrup
  5. 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. Dash of Orange Bitters
  7. 6 ounces crushed ice
  1. In a blender, puree all of the ingredients except the cantaloupe wedge and mint sprig. Pour into a snifter and garnish with the cantaloupe wedge and mint sprig.
