H&F House Pimm's Cup

  • SERVINGS: makes 1 drink

Greg Best calls New Orleans “the American hometown of the Pimm’s Cup.” (The city’s 200-year-old Napoleon House is known for its version of the drink.) Paying homage to this heritage, Best flavors this ginger ale–based riff on the drink with Peychaud’s bitters, another New Orleans signature.

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces Pimm’s No. 1
  3. 1 ounce chilled lemonade, preferably homemade
  4. 2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
  5. 3 ounces chilled ginger ale
  6. 2 cucumber wheels
  7. 1 large mint sprig, for garnish
  1. Fill a chilled collins glass with ice. Add the Pimm’s, lemonade and bitters; stir well. Stir in the ginger ale. Submerge the cucumber in the drink; garnish with the mint.
