Gingered Apple Sparkler

This spicy-sweet highball, developed as an alternative to the ubiquitous apple martini, is made with citrus vodka, apple liqueur and a healthy splash of ginger beer.

Ingredients

  1. Ice
  2. 1 1/2 ounces citrus vodka
  3. 1 1/2 ounces sour apple liqueur
  4. Splash of Angostura bitters
  5. 4 ounces chilled ginger beer
  6. 1 maraschino cherry

Directions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, liqueur and bitters; shake well. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with the ginger beer and the cherry.
