Ryan's family always grilled steaks on Independence Day, but today she prefers cooking a whole beef tenderloin because it's more magnificent and the flavor is more delicate. When selecting a tenderloin roast, smaller is better because the meat will be firmer.

Garlicky Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Herbs

I had never cooked a tenderloin before much less one on the grill, but I was determined to have one for my birthday party.  This recipe was extremely easy to make and every guest raved about it.  I've been sending the recipe to everyone I know.

This is outstanding.  Made 2 large tenderloins on the grill for a party of 40 and everyone raved.  Flavors are excellent.  I let the rub stay on overnight.
