- 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest
In a blender, puree the ice cream and milk until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses. Rinse out the blender. Add the strawberries and lemon zest and puree. Top the milk shakes with some of the strawberry puree and serve.
