Mixing cocktails one by one is exceedingly impractical at a big party. Instead, F&W's Nick Fauchald suggests this pitcher drink.

2 cups Sauvignon Blanc
1 cup gin
3/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 cup maraschino liqueur
1/4 cup simple syrup
Lemon twists, for garnish

Fill a pitcher with ice. Add the wine, gin, juice, liqueur and simple syrup. Stir well and strain into 8 chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish each drink with a lemon twist.
