Friar Flip

In cocktail terminology, a flip is a sweetened drink made with a spirit, whole egg and spice (typically nutmeg). The Friar Flip from Melissa Hayes gets its spice from chocolaty mole bitters and yellow Chartreuse, a honeyed herbal liqueur made by Carthusian monks since the 1700s.
