This popular drink is a favorite of Alain Lenne, a French waiter at the restaurant. He uses a similar pastis-laced concoction to cure stomachaches.

  1. Ice
  2. 2 1/2 ounces vodka
  3. 1/2 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
  4. 1/4 ounce Pastis
  5. 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  6. 1 maraschino cherry
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Cointreau, pastis and lemon juice and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the maraschino cherry.
